(SOUTH YARMOUTH) – If you’re a resident of Thirwood Place in South Yarmouth, Cape Cod’s premier senior living community, you’ve got a musical and tasty week coming up.

On June 11 at 11:30 a.m., residents will be heading to the famous Skipper Chowder House on South Shore Dr. in Yarmouth for a spectacular luncheon. They actually found a way to make deep-fried clam chowder! The steamers and nachos are pretty good, too.

Also on Tuesday, world-renowned acclaimed pianist I-Heung Lee will be at Thirwood Place at 3 p.m. to entertain our residents. Music critics have described Lee’s performances as graceful, thoughtful, & intelligent, touched with a unique style of artistic sophistication.

We’re expecting a magical performance.

Later in the week, the musical theme continues as we dance into the weekend on June 14 at 7:00 p.m. with the Swing Easy Band, a six piece jazz band from Cape Cod playing swing, bossa and ballads from the American songbook. Be sure to put on your dancing shoes!

As always, the week will also include yoga, swimming, pool and billiards and visits to Stop & Shop and Trader Joe’s.

There’s always something happening at Thirwood Place in South Yarmouth.
