Line Cook
This is a UNIQUE opportunity to work in the high-end culinary field without the grind of typical culinary hours. The Line Cook rarely works past 8 p.m. as our dining operation has set hours for residents.

The Line Cook will report directly to the Executive Chef and is instrumental in the presentation, quality, and success for our food operation. Job Duties Include
- Candidate must be out-going and good with stressful situations.
- Must have an overall general knowledge of food and sanitation.
- Excel with guest satisfaction and personnel relationships.
- Be neat and organized, and have a willingness to work well with and be able to teach others.
- When required, the Line Cook also fills in for and/or assists the line cooks to make sure that the kitchen runs smoothly.
- Responsibilities for the Line Cook include but are not limited to being in charge when the executive chef is off duty, assisting with the planning of menus and meals and overseeing the preparation and service of food.
Job Type: full-time
Pay: $24 – $26 per hour

Licensed Practical Nurse
Available shifts: evening and day shifts available including every other weekend.
Job Duties Include
- Assists Health Director in evaluating resident’s needs, condition, and care
- Works with Health Director to develop and update service plans for individual residents
- Assigns and instructs non-licensed staff on daily duties
- Assists Health Director with compliance of EOEA regulations
- Responsible for processing physician’s care and medication orders
- Maintains unit records and updates charts in accordance with Thirwood Place policies

Certified Nursing Assistants
We’re looking for energetic CNAs – Certified Nursing Assistants – for part-time and full-time weekend shifts.
The ideal CNA candidate will have a passion for seniors and engage in caregiving in a community that is set in a home-like environment. All our caregivers are also trained to assist with medications.
