(SOUTH YARMOUTH ) – With summer in full gear, residents at Thirwood Place have a lot of activities to take part in over the next several weeks, both inside and in the sun.

Kerri and Carol will be back on August 19 for their stretching and strengthening program in the Thirwood Place auditorium at 1 p.m. Later that day, Doug Riccardi – Jazz Til Dawn will perform at 6:30 p.m., also in the auditorium.

On Tuesday, August 13, residents can take a great summer road trip to the Outer Cape! They’ll be heading to the Bookstore Restaurant for lunch in Wellfleet and then head over the National Seashore Visitors Center in Eastham. Some of the best waterfront views can be seen from that location.

On August 28, get ready for a classic Cape Cod summer theater experience as Thirwood Place residents head to the Cape Playhouse in Dennis to see “Deathtrap.” Ticket holders will be leaving at 1:15 p.m.

The entertainment continues on Wednesday, August 28 with the popular performers, Tom Telemanick and Bob Higgins performing in the front lobby at 7 p.m.

Later in the month, Kerry Lyford and Kathleen Welcome are back with Reiki at 1 p.m. in the Conservatory.

There’s always something happening for our residents at Thirwood Place in South Yarmouth.
